Scripture for Today

“But without faith it is impossible to please and be satisfactory to Him. For whoever would come near to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He is the rewarder of those who earnestly and diligently seek Him [out].”

Faith is a key requirement of our walk with God. It entails a total childlike trust in God and His ability to keep His word.

How many 2 year-olds will question daddy's financial capability to buy the candy he promised? They simply believe and wait for daddy to return with the candy and if daddy fails, they will wail and mourn until the candy is produced.   God expects this level of trust from us His children.

As you go into this week, be encouraged to ask, if God is seemingly silent, then go higher and seek by searching His word and then knock until you receive and after you have received, celebrate in thanksgiving.

So go ahead in this week trusting God to deliver on His promises.

  1. This is my exact sentiments on asking from God. Forget how he will do it because thats not your business. Just be rest assured that if and when he will do it, he will do it.

Great post Ralph! Concise and bible based.
